The Diary Game [22/03/2026] Peaceful Sunday Morning: Starting My Day with Hope and Gratitude

It's a Sunday morning, I woke up feeling strong, healthy, refreshed and ready for a good day.

Thank God for the gift of life. Next thing I did was grab my phone, check if I had some messages to reply to. I finally stood up from the bed, stretched and walked straight to the bathroom to brush and wash my face.

I looked outside through my window, the sunlight was already shining through the window in golden rays, birds chirping, what a beautiful sight to behold. I felt a sense of tranquility, giving my day a positive start.

I walked straight to the kitchen to prepare my coffee, which is a usual routine. While sipping my coffee slowly, I kept saying my daily affirmative words, declaring positively to the new day and the week.

Just then I stumbled on a friend's WhatsApp status that says every new day is a beginning of a new opportunity and being alive is a great hope.

Those words really got me thinking. Sometimes we are too carried away with the hustle of life that we forget that waking up is a blessing. With each sun that rises is a new beginning, another chance to keep pushing, make the difference, improve, and achieve your goals. Forget about yesterday. It might not have gone well for you, but today brings a new opportunity, so utilize it.

As long as there's life, there's hope, time to learn, be with loved ones, and time to build. Some days may not come with signs and wonders, but if you look very well there are new opportunities if only you're willing to see them.

Today is another chance of becoming a better version than I was yesterday.

After a long time sipping, meditating and sitting in a spot, I picked up my laptop to reply to some emails, attend to Steemit notifications and other important work stuff.

Later, I prepared noodles with some ingredients I bought yesterday.

When I was done with breakfast, I came up with the list for the day, breaking the bigger task into smaller parts. And I also need to visit my dad today. But first, I will join my fellow brethren in today's church service. So, see you all when I'm back from church and happy new week to you all ☺️

REFLECTION:

Mornings are really influential. That's why, most times, I don't like anyone to ruin my mornings, because how you start the day can influence the entire day. So, one step at a time, breathe in/out, perceive, define your target, set goals and always have a positive mindset.
