The Diary Game[19/06/2026] Attended a friend’s PhD defense.
Hello friends and family members accepted special greetings from this end of globe .Today is another amazing day as a good friend and a colleague of mine is defending her PhD thesis (doctorate degree) today .I was so happy seeing her determination, patience and patience coming to reality today .
Today is my son birthday as well Iam happy for his growth . I had so one or two things before preparing for to attend my friends defense at the university campus. We all her friends are happy as her three years sacrifice in phd studies has finally come to a successful reality story . The PhD defense is schedule to take place at 9:00am .
This the invitation shared to invites for the appropriate program for the day .At 8:45am I was prepared and had to leave the house for my friend’s defense at the university campus.Iam familiar with the university and the halls because that where I obtained my post graduate studies.I took a taxi from the roadside . In 10minutes,I was already I arrived at the university campus.
From there ,I had to moved straight to school university restaurant hall where the PhD defense of my friend is taking place .I arrived when the PhD defense thesis has already started .I only look a way to find myself in the hall well seated.Many people were in the hall who turned out for her defense.
My friend thesis topic was focused on "National Bilingual Education in Anglophone Cameroon public secondary schools, 1962 - 2019:An Experience in Nation Building." As I settled down .I was very keen and had to follow her defense very carefully.
She had four members of jury in addition with her supervisor 5 professor’s in number, two from different universities.There was a serious exchange between the jury members and my friend concerning her thesis work .I was so happy as she mastered her and was able to tackled most well based on her research topic.
The PhD defense took approximately 4 hours with good exchange with the jury .One thing I noticed is that when your have a good research topic and have carried out research well with the related topic.By having good mastery of your statement of problem that prompted you out for a research .It’s easy for you have a good work and good defense.
After, a serious deliberation by jury members with the exchange for about 4 hours .My friend was graded with excellent with PhD defense very carefully.We were so happy for her , everyone in the hall shouted with that voice of Joy and celebration .
Everyone went outside for a snapshot with my the lastest doctor in town .Gifts the money buckey, flowers etc .Where given to her for her excellent work defending well .Now my friend is officially the lastest doctor in town .Doctor Landji Joy , the husband was so happy for her.

Congratulations my darling friend and doc hardwork pays off.We had a group picture together with our latest doctor and after. We have to moved to the hall for reception and the celebration of success. While inthe hall everything was set and we seated .The reception part started exactly at 2:30pm.
Attended , by family, friends and lecturers in the university.The program was briefed , a well entrance by the latest doctor in town. Prayer, respective chair persons to the high table , welcoming of lecturers . A welcome speech from the husband, from the celebrants our latest doctor . A talk from the her supervisors .We have academic honor by the lectures .Puffing champagne and blessing her achievements.
Nextby,the cutting of cake and reception.There was enough food to eat and drinks to drink .we ate dance and celebrated my friend .From here , It was already time for me go back home.At 4:00pm,I left back home.
While at home my kids were happy to see me .I promised my son whose birthday was today to do something little just for in the family.I prepared food something for his birthday .I already made carrot soup before.In 1hour I boiled spaghetti and made fried plantain.
The last thing was to fry Puffcorn and Caracas.After, it was 6:30pm, I set the table called my family on the table .We sang birthday song and made wishes for my son who just clocked 5years. We ate and celebrated our son.
The little gesture we made for our son he was so happy .He thank me mummy thank you for celebrating me.It was a good evening spend with my family .This are moments that are very precious and can’t be forgotten.
Our night ended us in bed after , spending something together.It was a good day as I attended my friends PhD defense.It passed on well with good result Excellent .Am happy for her achievement,congratulations Doc lanji joy .Wishing you more achievements✌️✌️✌️.
