Diary Game:[10/05/26] A Beautiful Day in Church.

Today really excited me. I drag myself out of bed this morning, almost miss first service because I was scrolling on my phone very late at night. But when I finally reached church, the place was calm with that Sunday morning vibe, a kind of vibe that is felt only in a church. People were greeting each other, children were running up and down and the choir were warming up. Something about the air just told me that today isn't going to be a regular Sunday.

Amazing Grace.

Then announcement came saying "our pastor has done a pulpit exchange with Pastor Olumide from TREM araromi".
So our Pastor went to his own church then Pastor Olumide came to ours.
At first I felt it was going to be awkward, but Pastor Olumide came with this calm energy and stories that makes the whole place exciting and still made everyone listen attentively.

He talked about patience using market women.
"Market women are one of those individuals who can wait so patiently for buyers to come and patronize them...they wouldn't say because it's getting late and they made no sales they decided to lock up and stop working.
They would still come back the next day and continue the patient waiting and hustling".

The sermon hit different because he was really a true servant of God.
He uses simple examples, even relate it to how we all hustle for daily bread.
Even the children that usually sleep at the back look up and laugh.
Then I realize say sometimes a change in the routine can actually make service more captivating.

When service end, we didn't all rush normal.
Everybody were outside, gisting about the exchange.
As I walk back home, sun was shining gently, and I felt light in the chest.
It isn't like problem has finish, but today remind me that small changes can make a big difference.
I will remember this Sunday, especially the way the whole church laugh together like one big family.
