Our Wild Ground Orchid
We found a wild ground orchid months ago, it was stuck at the roots of a coconut tree in our farm. We just knew it was an orchid because it looked like our other orchids. The roots and the leaves are similar. We took it and planted it near our backyard garden and we were waiting for it to bloom so we can identify what kind of orchids it is.
This morning, it just surprised us with a few flowers and we used an app to capture it and identify and it resulted with a match. This one is called a Tiger Orchid! Wow! The flowers are actually uniquely pretty. It fit its name perfectly.
What is the plant name?
Locals call it Tiger Orchids but here is the real name and other info...
