Der Giersch blüht / Ground Elder blossoms

Bei uns hat der Giersch den Kampf um die Herrschaft über den Garten gewonnen. Unter den Bäumen ist ein Unkrautvlies, Gemüse wächst in Hochbeeten - aber hier am Teichrand kann er machen was er will.

Since it's nearly impossible to get rid of that plant, we simply let it grow where it's not important, like here along our small garden pond. Our vegetables are living in a raised bed and there's landscape fabric around trees and bushes.
