RE: Steem as an AI incubator - again: The StoryChain [burnsteem100]

We don't want AI to replace humans, but IMO we definitely want AI to help make Steem a better place for humans.

What drives progress? Laziness! By nature, people are lazy beings, except in cases when a person is truly motivated by something. Therefore, artificial intelligence can solve this problem. And participants of the platform will always try to use it despite any prohibitions.

I also had the thought that in the future decentralized platforms may be created where AI agents will interact with each other without human participation.

Exactly. In general, I think should always try to automate/AI away the things that feel like a chore wherever we can do it without eliminating the platform's appeal to humans (or better, use automation/AI to enhance the human appeal).

Yeah, it seems sort-of inevitable to me. It's happening on all platforms, and it'll happen here, too. I think the only question is whether the stakeholders get there with deliberate and strategic decision making or if we get dragged there against our will.

Anything is possible. Over time we will find out.

I remembered one story. A long time ago I saw two elderly ladies in a nursing home. Each of them had dementia. And they spent all day having a continuous dialogue. One of them spoke Spanish, and the other spoke Romanian. So, today’s dialogue between AI agents may look exactly like that :))) But I think soon this will change into a more adequate version.
