Last weekend we were celebrating Holy Week in quarantine, of course, for us Venezuelans it is very rare to spend a Holy Week at home, since at this time different activities are always carried out such as: The collection of the palms, the walk of the Nazarene, the visit of the 7 temples, the burning of judas, traveling to the beach, in short, the activity that families wish to participate in, well, because of the issue of the pandemic and the difficult moments that we are going through at the moment I think that Family unity is something extremely important, to be able to enjoy and create new memorable moments, on Sunday known as the family rest day I decided to make a meal for my partners and my parents.

It occurred to me to make a pasticho, this food is my favorite and my partner also likes it a lot, my parents too and it is a food that would yield enough, also the process of making it was really fun thanks to my adored mom who is always willing To help, we start by making the bolognese with a natural tomato sauce made at home, we season it with a little salt, a cube, chopped onion and garlic. at the same time we make the béchamel with water, a cup of flour, half grated onion, a little salt and nutmeg. Cook the bolognese and the bechmamel sauce for about 30 min.

they were ready, we went on to build the pasticho layer by layer, we put a little of the bechamel sauce and a little bolognese, cheese and we continued with the next layer, to the last layer I add a little ham to give it a touch of flavor, previously when Venezuela was another, my mistress prepared it with jaon and all its layers, but unfortunately, Venezuela changed 20 years ago and has not recovered yet. We enjoyed putting together the pasticho between laughs and anecdotes while my father and my boyfriend fixed some electrical things in the house (thank God they did not electrocute us)

After finishing it, we put it in the oven for about 35 minutes at a temperature of 150 degrees, it was finally there and, it is not because we made it but it is very good, the best of the preparation was the company to make it, I know it is We are living very difficult moments around the world and that we have had to change our way of life, and customs, but even so, and despite everything that has happened to us, it is good to remember that the family is there and it is the best moment to start taking care of ourselves for them, because it is worth being healthy to create these moments with family, I hope in the future to look back and remember this precise moment of the pandemic, remember the panic I felt when this terrible disease was discovered, fear That led me to be more attentive to my parents, to be more in tune with them, to unite more, because definitely in the union is strength. The family is always the origin of everything, and it is also the culmination of everything.
