The golden tortoise beetle in entomology has the binomial name Aspidimorpha sanctaecrucis, which is a species of beetle that belongs to the Chrysomelidae family. This beetle has a golden yellow back with a transparent shield like plastic. With its striking body color, you will have no trouble finding it in the bush. This species is often found in most countries in Southeast Asia, and parts of Northeast India.
