A Day of Hard Work and Melodies: From Cutting Firewood to Church Rehearsals [24-11-25]
I hope everyone is doing great and staying safe. I am so happy to be here again to share my diary with you all. Yesterday was one of those days where the clock just seemed to tick faster than usual 😂 "
My day was chained up with busy activities from morning until night, switching between manual labor, professional work, and spiritual activities.
So let me take you through how my day went!

A Sunny Morning and Helping Mom
The day started with the sun coming out so quickly and brightly. The environment looked vibrant, signaling that it was going to be a hot day.
Just as I was preparing for the day, my mother asked for my help. She needed her firewood arranged and cut for cooking. As a good son, I got to work immediately. It wasn't an easy task! At one point, the cutlass almost slipped and cut my hand, but I thank God I was quick to dodge it. I had to be extra careful after that scare.

Laundry, Music, and a Curious Visitor
I wasn't working alone, though. In this picture, you can see I was having a fun moment with my brother. While I was battling with the firewood, he was busy doing the laundry.
To make the work less tiring, we blasted some good music from the small red speaker you can see beside him. We were really enjoying the vibe, working and listening to songs.
Something funny happened while the music was playing. My mother's hen and her little chicks walked right up to us! It honestly looked like they came to listen to the tone of the music too! 😂 I couldn't resist capturing the moment.
From Wood Cutter to Graphic Designer
Immediately I finished the hard labor for my mom, it was as if a client was waiting for me at the door. Another job came up, but this time, it was the kind that pays physical cash!
A woman brought a job for me to design a flyer for her church program. I quickly took my bath to wash off the dust from the wood, opened my laptop, and launched CorelDraw.

I spent some time being creative, designing a beautiful flyer for their "Harvest of Overflowing Thanksgiving." It feels good to switch from physical strength to mental creativity.
An Evening of Music and Fellowship
I was still in the middle of the design when my phone rang. It was my friend, who happens to be the keyboardist in my church. He asked me to come over to the church so we could run some music rehearsals.
I couldn't say no to music. I paused my work, dressed up, and headed to the church. Here is my talented friend on the keys.

We had a great session. I grabbed the microphone and poured my heart out in worship. It is always refreshing to sing.

After the rehearsal, I stayed back to join the students' fellowship which takes place in the evening. It was a time of learning and praying together. We finally dismissed around 7:00 PM, and I made my way back home, tired but very fulfilled.

That was how my busy Monday went! From cutting wood and dodging a sharp cutlass to designing graphics and singing in church. It was stressful but productive, and I am grateful for the strength to do it all.
