Crafting to ease boredom: 15/05/2026

Hello everyone, I'm artist @edysly. A steemian. It's been good to be part of this family.
I had a very boring day yesterday because I was at home. It can be like that sometime when not having much to engaged with. I woke up, pray to God, do my chores and cook noodles to feed my lovely soul that beautiful morning. I was having in mind of visiting a friend, but I was considering the transport fare when has increased from the usual due to fuel price increment.

I was left with no choice to stay at ho,e since I didn't have enough money to fund my fare. As an artist, I told myself to get up and do something creative. I came up with the idea of making a flower of any kind. So, I gathered my tools and materials and commenced the making.

I cut the paper very neatly and folded to carve out my desired shape. I didn't have colored cardboard paper, so I have to improvised by using poster colour to paint the colour I needed on a plain white sheet.

I proceeded to sticking the flower cut together. I formed the flower stem by using a broom stick and roll from the tip of paper to the last edge, then painted it. I glued the flower to the stem and i have this beautiful flower. I couldn't sit bored when I can actually think creatively on what to engaged with and kill the boredom.
