Creativity at its peak: 25/02/2026

Today, I want to share my experience with creating a mosaic. mosaic is a picture or design created by putting together many small pieces to form one complete image. It can be done using tiles, paper, glass, button, stone etc. It can be used for house decoration, pubic art anf lots more.

I visited the school I worked with before gaining admission to the university last week. When I got there, the current creative art teacher was so happy to see me. According to her, she really needed my assistance on how to create a mosaic. She didn't have an idea of how it should be done. She suggested creating a pot. To me, it seem so common. I needed a tedious task to perform. I told her we should make a flower mosaic which she agreed immediately. I did the flower sketching with proper detailing before the main business began.

The pupils gathered and ready to participate in sticking the rice and beans on the already drawn flower. It took time in sticking each seed on the design. We finally finished it and decided to apply colour to it in order to make it more beautiful. The pupil were very happy as well as the creative art teacher. She appreciated me for the creative idea of making a flower mosaic which was never in her mind. I regarded this as Creativity at its peak.
