Enjoying a Heartfelt Gift of Saag
Good Day Everyone!
Today we enjoyed delicious saag that was gifted to us by my friend. Since it was only boiled and cooked, we decided to give it a tasty tadka. My wife cut onions, keeping some separate and frying some until they turned brown for topping. She also crushed fresh ginger and garlic.
First, she heated a little oil in a cooking pot, then added the chopped onions. When the onions turned light brown, she added the ginger and garlic. The smell was wonderful. After that, she added the boiled saag and let it cook together for about five to seven minutes so all the flavors could mix nicely.
When it was ready, she garnished it with fresh coriander, thin slices of ginger, and the brown fried onions. We all enjoyed it very much and ate it with desi ghee, which made the taste even richer. I also took some pictures to share with you.
