Pista Kulfi Ice Cream Review: Delicious or Just Average?

in Beauty of Creativity3 months ago

Hello friends,
how are you all? I’m Alhamdulillah doing really well. I usually love ice cream, but since winter is coming, I don’t eat it as much these days. However, after a long time, today I tried the viral Pista Kulfi from Bangladesh. This blog is all about that experience—I hope you’ll enjoy reading it!

First Impressions

The Pista Kulfi is a popular pistachio-flavored ice cream in Bangladesh. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of pistachios, so I wasn’t expecting it to be my favorite. Still, I was curious because it’s been trending online.

Packaging & Brand

  • The ice cream is from the brand Za ’n Zee.
  • It comes in a “couple pack” style—two containers meant for sharing, each around 280 ml.
  • The packaging is convenient, and it looks premium enough for a casual treat.
  • As a kulfi, it’s a bit denser and creamier than regular ice cream, which is a traditional feature of kulfi.

Taste & Texture

  • The first bite: the pistachio flavor wasn’t very strong, which suited me since I’m not very fond of pistachios.
  • The bottom part of the ice cream didn’t have pistachio pieces, which made it surprisingly enjoyable—light and smooth.
  • The kulfi texture is rich and melts slowly in the mouth, which is very characteristic of traditional kulfi.
  • The greenish color of the pistachio is visible on top, adding to the visual appeal.

Overall, while the pistachio flavor was a bit mild for my taste, the empty bottom part actually made the ice cream more enjoyable.

Pros ✅

1. Packaging: The couple pack makes it easy to share.
2. Texture: Thick and creamy, melts slowly, as expected from kulfi.
3. Bottom layer: Less pistachio at the bottom made it smoother and light.

Cons ❌

1. The pistachio pieces could be a little bigger for a stronger taste.
2. The pistachio flavor could be more prominent for pistachio lovers.
3. Price could be adjusted slightly considering the quantity and taste.

If you’re like me and don’t enjoy strong pistachio flavors, this Pista Kulfi won’t disappoint—you might even like the lighter bottom part. If you’re a pistachio lover, you might expect a stronger flavor.

Overall, it’s a nice winter treat and definitely worth trying at least once. If you do try it, let me know how you like it!
