Macrophotography- Argiope aemula

Argiope is a large spider that has a striking color on its belly. This spider's body is different from other spiders and its web is stronger than the regular spiders you see in your house. These spiders are also known as wasp spiders and St. cross spiders. Andrew. Because this spider forms an X on its web and this spider forms an X while waiting for the victim's trap in its web.

In the Philippines, There are various species of Argiope spiders. Argiope aemula, you can easily identify this spider by the zigsag design embossed on the web. This species can be found also in India, Sulawesi and the New Hebrides. Discovered in 1841 by Walkenaer.

Argiope catenulata (Grass Cross Spider). These spiders are usually seen in the grass such as in the fields. This spider can also be found in India and New Guinea. Discovered in 1859 by Doleschall.

I found an argiope spider in a friend's rice field, while hunting for some macrophotography photos.
