Steemit challenge Season 34 - Week 4: The Type of Pet I Would Love to Have

Hello everyone, I trust you're all doing great and enjoying the season.

Firstly, I would love to sincerely appreciate the organizers of this week's interesting challenge for this wonderful opportunity to share our thoughts. Honestly, I'm happy to be part of this week's challenge for Season 34, Week 4.

For this week's first question, I would love to write on the type of pet I would love to have.

One of the most beautiful animals I would love to have as a pet is a dog. I so much love animals, both domestic and wild.

At one point, because in the line of my work, I happened to live in a very large environment that got me really exposed to wildlife. Even though I had some goats, sheep and my chickens which I was rearing at the time, I figured out that animals can be very friendly and even more intelligent than the level most humans suspect them to be.

All my animals, I call them by their different names and it will surprise you that every single one of them responds to their names which happens to be one of my first amazing experiences. They are friendly and playful, love coming close to rub bodies, eat from my hand or lick.

But amongst this experience, I've always had the desire to have a dog because of the beautiful things I've heard about them and the uniqueness I've seen in them through the numerous videos I've watched about them on the internet.

To me, I would really love to have the standard number of 22 dogs in my house and to maintain that number, not going beyond or less.

But surprisingly, I haven't even had one dog as a pet yet. Not really because I haven't had the opportunity to get one, but because most of my friends don't feel comfortable around dogs due to the negative things they have heard and some of their personal terrifying experiences with random stray dogs.

But the main reason I haven't really gotten a dog as the type of pet I would love to have is because a member of my family doesn't love the idea of having a dog around them, watching the house, not even talk of having it as a pet.

Also making it worse, there's a number I considered to portray, if they can't stand around one, then eventually it will make every member of my family feel their pets have been overrun by terrorists and they will have no choice but abandon ship.

This means even my parents won't be free to visit me whenever they like and family is everything.

Therefore, for this reason, I haven't had a dog as my pet yet, but I would love to have it. But for now, I will only keep petting it deep down inside my heart.
