Cap Honeysuckle - 10% beneficiary to @beautycreativity
Dear Friends!
Asslam u alaikum!
Your friend M. Saleem is present with another informative post. Today is 11th of January, 2026. It is Sunday noon and it's a holiday. Today is cool foggy weather. Temperature is 3 centigrade with cool breeze which is freezing every thing. I put on my shoe, tracksuit, jacket, cap and shawl. Just came out and went out for a walk, in the way there was a beautiful bail with bright red flowers which were looking so beautiful that I decided to take some photographs of it. These photographs are sharing with you.
This flower is called the Cape honeysuckle .
It is an evergreen shrub native to southern Africa.
The plant features clusters of bright orange-red, trumpet-shaped flowers.
It is known to attract hummingbirds due to its color and sweet nectar.
It is a versatile plant that can be grown as a shrub, a climbing vine, or a hedge. This photo shows Cape honeysuckle (Tecoma capensis), an ornamental flowering shrub.
The plant has bright red–orange tubular flowers arranged in small clusters at the ends of branches.
The long, narrow tube and protruding yellow stamens are adaptations for bird pollination, especially sunbirds.
Leaves are compound with glossy green leaflets, typical of the Bignoniaceae (trumpet vine) family.
It’s a fast-growing evergreen shrub or climber, often used for hedges and garden walls.
Native to southern Africa, it blooms heavily in warm climates and attracts pollinators.
In short, this is a decorative, bird-attracting garden plant known for its vivid trumpet-shaped flowers. Thank you for reading, listening, liking and encouraging me.
Regards!
