Asslam u alaikum!

Today is 4th of January 2026. Bright first Sunday of New year. Weather is very cold.cool breeze is blowing and temperature is about 6 to 7 degree. It is a holiday I have come for a walk on the way there is a beautiful place where I saw a beautiful flower.As you know that I am found of nature and natural beauty. The flower is blooming in different colours Which were looking so beautiful that I decided to take some photographs to share it with you.
This flower is called marigold, or calendula (Calendula officinalis), known for its bright color and versatility. In Pakistan it is also called "Gull e Ashrafi".

It is an easy-to-grow annual flower with daisy-like blooms that can be yellow or orange.
The plant has a long history of culinary and medicinal use, with edible petals that can be added to salads or used as a garnish.
It is an aromatic herb and is noted for attracting pollinators like butterflies and bees.
Calendula blooms over a long period, almost continuously until the first heavy frost.
This flower is found all over the country due to its lowest maintenance and can be grown anywhere in pots and lands. I have also grown in pots which are kept on entrance outside the main gate.
