Today is 1st January 2026, the first day of the new year, and it is Thursday. I pray that the new year brings lots of happiness, peace, and blessings into your lives.
The weather today is absolutely wonderful. A cool breeze is blowing, the sky is covered with dark clouds, and there is light drizzling. The weather is extremely pleasant, and the temperature is around 8 to 9 degrees Celsius. In such beautiful weather, there is a special joy in eating karhi pakoras.

Therefore, today we planned to cook karhi pakoras at home. First, gram flour (besan) was mixed with buttermilk to prepare a smooth mixture. On the other side, a flavorful tempering was prepared using ghee, onions, turmeric, red chili, tomatoes, ginger, and garlic. The gram flour mixture was then added to this tempering and cooked for some time, resulting in a delicious karhi.
Next came the pakoras. For this, gram flour was mixed with dry coriander, green chilies, spinach, fresh coriander, potatoes, onions, and various spices to make a thick batter. Small pakoras were fried in ghee until they turned golden brown and were then added to the karhi.
In this way, a delicious, aromatic, and energy-rich karhi pakora curry was prepared. This dish is loved by people of all ages and tastes even better in winter.
