Today is 24th of February 2026. It's Tuesday and the weather is very clear but a little warm.
As you know, the blessed month of Ramadan is about to begin. In Ramadan, giving and arranging Iftar (the meal to break the fast) is a very rewarding act. So today, we have also planned an Iftar gathering.
For this, we have prepared different kinds of dishes and a barbecue. Along with that, we also decided to make sweet rice. We planned to cook it in a large pot (degh), so we arranged rice, sugar, and hired an expert cook to prepare it.
He worked very hard and made very delicious sweet rice (mutanjan). Different colors and dry fruits were added to the white rice to make it look more beautiful. At the end delicious rice was ready. Here are some photographs of the rice.
