The rain had just stopped, it was around three o'clock in the afternoon, after a long time of rain pouring down and soaking the earth, showered since morning day.
When the rain had stopped, I took the time to take pictures of the mushrooms that thrived in my garden. There are several types of mushrooms that grow there. But I chose to photograph this one mushroom, because I think today it looks very beautiful with its shape and color.
Here we call it jelly mushroom. That's because the texture is chewy when we hold it like jelly. Mushrooms of this type are also found in various colors and shapes. For example brown, black and pale yellow as I show this.
Likewise with the shape, some are like a bowl, some are long and stand out and also have a shape like this one. In the scientific name of this mushroom is called Guepiniopsis alpina who also belong to the family Dacrymycetes. Generally this fungus grows on dead wood and dry tree branches, often found in tropical areas and thrives during the rainy season.
Here I include a scientific classification related to this fungus which I quoted from the source Wikipedia. Let's just say this can add to our knowledge regarding the diversity of mushrooms.

এই মাশরুমগুলো কিন্তু দেখতে অনেক সুন্দর হয়। একটা গাছ যখন বেশিক্ষণ বেঁচে থাকে তখনই মাশরুমগুলো সেই গাছ থেকে জন্ম হয়। আরমা সিংহ দেখতে অনেকটাই জেলির মত অনেক সুন্দর দেখাচ্ছে।
