The Breathtaking creature known as the Crab Spider! 10% to @beautycreativity

This is the crab Spider. It lives almost everywhere. In gardens, farms, and bushes. One way to identify it is its white / cream like body coloring, though some species can change colour to match the colour of the plant they are sitting on.

Right now, this small but mighty animal is out to hunt. When hunting, they sit very still on the flowers or plants and wait for unsuspecting flies, bees or insects to come near them. Once they do, they quickly inject their venom into those insects and immobilize them. From there on, it’s meal time.

A few things to note about the Crab spiders:

• They do not spin webs like other members of their family.

• some species of the crab spider can change colour to suit the plant they sit on.

• They are not dangerous to humans, their venom is for insects alone. The only time they become dangerous to humans is when they are squeezed.

• They can be found in common places like farms, gardens, atop flowers or plants.
