My Dairy Post - From Morning Runs to Blending Smoothies — How My Day Went 24/03/2026
Hello amazing people
Good day to you all, I hope you’re doing well and had a smooth, productive day wherever you are
You know those days where you didn’t really plan anything special, but somehow the day just builds itself into something interesting?
Yeah… today was exactly that kind of day for me.
Today started on a different note for me…
I actually woke up early (which is not always the case). No time to waste, because I already had plans with my brother.
He recently got a new place, so we had to go out and get some things for the house. You know how it is—once someone rents a new place, the real work just begins.
So we stepped out, moved around, got what we needed… and on our way back, we branched the market.
And that’s where another idea came to my head;
smoothie time
Instead of overthinking what to eat for fitness and all that stress, I decided to just go for it and get the ingredients to make something simple but effective.
So I picked up a few things:
dates, tigernut, banana, avocado, milk… and of course, eggs.
Smoothie Preparation Begins
When I got home, I didn’t even waste time.
After sorting out everything, I started preparing the ingredients one by one. And I won’t lie… there’s something satisfying about setting everything up before blending
Banana
Banana is always a must for me. It gives that smooth texture and also helps with energy, especially if you’re trying to stay active or hit the gym.
Tigernut
Tigernut is one of those things people underrate, but it actually does a lot—fiber, energy, and even helps your digestion. Plus, it thickens the smoothie nicely.
Avocado
Avocado just makes everything better.
It adds that creamy feel and gives your body healthy fats that actually help with muscle growth and keeping you full.
Dates
Dates came in to handle sweetness naturally. No need for sugar when you have this. Plus, quick energy boost is always welcome.
Milk
Milk ties everything together. It’s one of the main sources of protein here and helps give the smoothie that smooth consistency.
Eggs
Now this is where the real protein boost comes from.
But I made sure to use boiled eggs. If you use raw eggs, the smoothie won’t last—it’ll go sour quickly.
Once everything was ready, I threw all the ingredients into the blender, added my milk, and let it do its thing.
And just like that…
The result?
A thick, rich, creamy smoothie that actually feels like it’s doing something for your body.
I poured the smoothie into a bottle and kept it in the fridge.
This way:
- It stays fresh
- It’s cold and refreshing
- And it can last up to 2–3 days (since I used boiled eggs)

After all that, I didn’t even go for anything heavy.
I just went simple—garri, groundnut and coconut. I also added very chilled water, it was a great feeling after being beaten by the sun a bit.
And honestly… it did the magic.

After I finished eating, I sat for a while for it to circulate and digest a bit then I went straight to bed to relax.
One thing I’m realizing is that, Going to the gym alone is not enough.
If you really want results, you have to match it with what you eat, how you rest, and how consistent you are.
And instead of stressing myself with “eat this, eat that”…
I’m choosing the easier route — just blend it!
Today was productive in its own way—
movement, small hustle, good food, and something beneficial for my body.
And honestly… I like days like this.
Would you try this smoothie combo? Or do you have your own mix?
