Today is a December 26. Weather was clear, sun was out, not too harsh, just normal winter sunshine. I was walking on a street in Abbottabad, nothing planned, just moving around.
While passing by, my eyes caught these flowers growing quietly on the side. No garden, no nursery, just there on the street, minding their own business. The color stood out. Red and fresh, like winter doesn’t really bother them.
I stopped for a moment. Took a closer look. It was Chrysanthemum (Gul-e-Daudi). I didn’t know much about it at that moment, but the way it was standing there made me take out my mobile and capture it.
This flower is usually seen in winter, strong enough to survive cold days. Layered petals, full shape, very simple yet attractive. Seeing such flowers on a street feels different, more real, more connected to daily life.
I took a few photographs right there. Nothing fancy, just natural light, street background, real scene. Sometimes beauty doesn’t need a special place, it just appears while you’re walking.
