"Gray Cross Spider" is an orb weaver. So if my guess is right than Perplexity and Grok were wrong. I don't remember what the said, but I don't think they were even in the Orb Weaver family/group. I guess ChatGPT was close, since it identified another orb weaver. But Gemini is the only one that agreed with my guess.
iNaturalist says it's a Furrow Spider. Yet another orb weaver. I'm inclined to believe that one.
