Книжковий хробачок, огляд 12: Бійцівський клуб -Little bookworm, review 12: Fight club

Доброго вечора, шановна спільното!

Сьогодні у мене огляд на книгу, яку знають просто всі, або всі хоча б дивилися екранізацію. Всі, окрім мене. Я не знаю, чого я роками з цим тягнула, бо це вже справді сучасна класика, і ось, цих вихідних я нарешті прочитала і подивилася…

«Бійцівський клуб».

Я скажу чесно, перш за все мене захопило саме видання цієї книги, тобто те, яке воно гарне. Подивіться на формацію, я ви відчуєте те саме, що відчула я. Вам теж подобається, як воно все горить? Можете не відповідати, я точно знаю, що так:)

Я не знаю, це ініціатива Поланіка (який доречі має українські коріння) чи ініціатива видавництва, в обидвох випадках це дуже круто. Нам потрібно більше книжок, у яких був би закладений такий посил.

Перші 50-100 сторінок книги я не дуже розуміла, що відбувається і не розуміла, як це воно спромоглося стати сучасною класикою. В якись момент я навіть полізла до Гуглу, щоб мені там розтлумачили, про що я зараз читаю. Я пробігла поглядом статтю з Вікіпедії, трохи набула розуміння та пішла читати далі.

Коли я закрила книгу у мене було розуміння, і розуміння того, що я зараз прочитала, і того, чому це стало класикою.

В,загалі-то якщо дати опис книги одним реченням, я б процитувала свого чоловіка, який дуже полюбляє фразу «Ебанулся на отличненько». Саме це сталося з героєм.

Я навіть не знаю, як описувати сюжет, та навіть не буду пробувати цього робити (це виправлення я додала після пʼяти невдалих спроб описати сюжет). Так як наврядчи я комусь тут зроблю спойлери, бо як я вже казала, всі окрім мене якщо не читали, то фільм точно дивилися, тож розповім не про сюжет, а про свої враження.

Коли я зрозуміла, що мова йде про диссоціативний розлод ідентичності я буквально була шокована. Це як дивитися «Ігри розуму» без спойлери, що головний герой страждає на шизофренію. Можу сказати, що сама ідея бійцівського клубу знаходить у мені відгук, я цілком розумію ту потребу випустити пару, проте роблю це з грушею, а не з реальними людьми, та то таке. Дісс! Діссоциативка, реально? Цей момент був наче вибух, який все пояснив, і далі я читала вже з захватом та повним розумінням.

Після того, як я дочитала, того ж вечора ми з дівчатами вирішили подивитися екранізацію, і я знов цілковито закохалася у цей сюжет та подачу інформації. Як я взагалі спочатку не могла зрозуміти книгу? Мабуть воно так і мало бути, щоб між шок всередині був дужчим.

Обовʼязково буду перечитувати і передивлятися фільм. І доречі саме з фільму я зрозуміла форзац книги, то ж останній кадр, лише з кремлем замість хмарочосів.

Today I have a review of a book that just about everyone knows, or everyone has at least watched the film adaptation. Everyone except me. I don't know what took me years with this, because it really is a modern classic, and this weekend I finally read it and watched it...

"Fight Club".

I'll be honest, first of all I was fascinated by the publication of this book, that is, how good it is. Look at the formation, you will feel the same as I did. Do you like how it all burns too? You can not answer, I know for sure that it is :)

I don't know if this is the initiative of Polanik (who by the way has Ukrainian roots) or the initiative of the publishing house, in both cases it is very cool. We need more books that carry this message.

For the first 50-100 pages of the book, I did not really understand what was happening and did not understand how it managed to become a modern classic. At some point, I even went to Google to explain to me what I was reading about. I glanced at the article from Wikipedia, gained a little understanding and went on reading.

When I closed the book I had an understanding, and an understanding of what I had just read and why it became a classic.

In general, if I were to describe the book in one sentence, I would quote my husband, who is very fond of the phrase "Fucked off perfectly." This is exactly what happened to the hero.

I don't even know how to describe the plot, and I won't even try (I added this fix after five failed attempts to describe the plot). Since I'm unlikely to give spoilers to anyone here, because as I already said, everyone except me, if they haven't read it, they've definitely watched the movie, so I'm not going to tell you about the plot, but about my impressions.

When I realized that we were talking about dissociative identity disorder, I was literally shocked. It's like watching Mind Games without the spoiler that the main character suffers from schizophrenia. I can say that the very idea of a fight club resonates with me, I completely understand the need to let off steam, but I do it with a pear, not with real people, and so on. Diss! Dissociative, really? This moment was like an explosion that explained everything, and then I read with delight and complete understanding.

After I finished reading, the girls and I decided to watch the adaptation that evening, and I completely fell in love with the story and presentation of the story all over again. How could I not understand the book at first? Perhaps it should have been so, so that the shock inside was stronger.

I will definitely re-read and re-watch the film. And by the way, it was from the movie that I understood the endpaper of the book, that is, the last frame, only with the Kremlin instead of skyscrapers.
