The Importance of Paying Attention to the Number of Calories in the Food We Eat

It cannot be denied, sometimes the busyness and pressure of work often causes many problems, especially for health. Health problems ranging from stress to the threat of nutritional deficiencies in the workplace. If your health condition starts to decline, you will definitely have many illnesses that will start to appear. It's very unfortunate, isn't it? Even though you are busy with work at the office, don't underestimate your nutritional intake. If that happens, the impact can be a decrease in thinking ability and productivity.

According to the information I have obtained, the average human calorie requirement per day is around 2000-2300 calories for men. Meanwhile, for women, it is around 1500-1800. Before discussing further, I want to know what changes are experienced by employees in their daily routines.

What have you experienced after entering the world of work regarding your diet?

"The change is that I feel that if I'm hungry at work, I more often buy fast food, the important thing is that I'm not hungry. That's all."

According to the nutritionist I met, good food to consume is food made from healthy fats which are rich in unsaturated fats, such as fish, soybeans, olive oil.

Apart from foods rich in healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, protein is also no less necessary, either vegetable or animal protein.

Yes, for vegetable protein you can eat nuts. For animal protein, you can also consume chicken meat without skin. So, now, you will definitely ask me, "midiagam, after we eat healthy, nutritious food, rich in vitamins, but we don't have much time to prepare."

Hmm, calm down...calm down, there are no problems that don't have a way out hehe...

In principle, our bodies need energy for daily activities. And the second is that our body needs movement to feed its muscles. So to maintain muscle mass you need movement. Well, when time is very limited, we have to prepare food as a source of energy that is practical and fast. Fast food in the sense of the word is not complicated to obtain.

Well, currently, the easiest thing is that we know there is something called juice as a meal replacement. So juice as a meal substitute is a food that we can prepare at home all of which are complete with ingredients. So there are carbohydrate food ingredients, we mix later with protein such as milk, then we combine with vegetables and fruit, blend together into juice, and it tastes pretty good.

Well, this could be one of the strategies that we can work out to bring to the office when we are very busy, we can fulfill it with just that. It's complete with nutrition.

But if that is not possible, then you can just consume it in the form of whole fruit. But that is only limited to energy and micronutrients, we don't get the protein yet.

So, the easiest protein is milk which has been packaged and is not easily damaged. For activities as muscle food, we must do them. It's best to exercise, but if you don't have time, we have to have an active lifestyle. What this means is that wherever we are, during our working hours, we take the time to stretch our muscles, move around, or get up after sitting. It is one of our strategies for our body increasing physical energy and providing food for muscles. Hopefully it's useful for those who read it.
