I am sorry to hear about the lead of your work place. Stroke comes very suddenly and if acted early there will be less residual symptoms. He definitely will need few weeks to recover and sometimes people maybe lucky and the weaknesses of their body parts might recover.

I can imagine that the mood of employees depends of the situation at work and productivity, hope everything will get to more or less normal soon.
