I felt deeply connected to the struggles and perseverance of the characters. The story takes place in rural China during a time of great change, and it focuses on the lives of ordinary people, like the main characters Sun Shaoping and Sun Shao'an, who work hard to improve their lives despite facing poverty and hardships. What struck me the most is how relatable their struggles are, even though the setting is very different from what I’ve experienced.

The novel shows the harsh realities of rural life, but it also highlights the characters' resilience. Sun Shaoping, in particular, stood out to me. He is a young man from a poor family, but he never stops striving for something better. He values education, works hard in the coal mines, and keeps pushing forward even when life knocks him down. His journey of personal growth and his hope for a better future are inspiring, and it made me reflect on my own life and ambitions.

At the same time, the book explores the relationship between personal dreams and the larger societal changes happening in China. It shows how ordinary people are affected by these shifts, and how they try to navigate them while holding onto their values and beliefs. I found this very thought-provoking, as it reminds me of the balance we all try to find between personal goals and the external forces shaping our lives.

Overall, Ordinary World is a moving story about perseverance, hope, and the power of hard work. It’s about how even in the face of difficulties, people can find meaning and purpose. The book is a reminder that ordinary people, through their everyday struggles, have their own extraordinary stories to tell. It made me appreciate the small victories in life and the importance of never giving up, no matter the challenges.
