A hopeful and healthy New Year!

Your photos are pretty amazing. My favourites are November and December, but the fly agaric isn't bad either ;-)) By the way, it would be perfectly edible (you'd just find yourself in an alternative reality ;-))

I wish you all a swift end to the war. I have always believed that negotiation is the better option, but I also understand the determination to persevere and the courage born of desperation. So stay strong!

Best regards from Germany!

Thank you si much!

Among mushroom foragers there’s a joke (a bit of dark humor) that fits this situation perfectly: all mushrooms are edible — but some of them only once! 😂

Do you mean the photo of the laminate flooring in the hallway, where I haven’t finished installing the floor yet?
🤔

I have always believed that negotiation is the better option, but I also understand the determination to persevere and the courage born of desperation.

It is very hard to talk about negotiations when territories larger than some European countries have been taken from you, and when, while defending what remains, so many Ukrainians have lost their lives. This is certainly not the best path — only a forced one. There is an expression: the lesser evil. This is exactly such a case.
And here it is important to understand that a strong and well-armed army is essential, because renewed aggression from Russia is inevitable, even if something resembling a peace agreement is eventually reached.

Yes, exactly, the last two photos. They both play nicely with perspective and proportions. I like them ;-))

And the fly agaric mushroom is actually enjoyed – in moderation – to achieve a pleasant high. It's probably similar to the experience of taking LSD...

Yes, I know. I just wanted to share this joke. 😄
