As far as I know, you only have to pay for the return shipping if you damaged the item yourself or simply want to cancel the purchase for no reason. Otherwise, doesn't the retailer pay? I've found Ali Express to have very dedicated customer support, so I wish you luck with your complaint!

Так, але це спочатку доставку плачу я, тобто додаткові ризики несу я, потім компенсує продавець(як товар дійде і шахрай продавець все підтвердить), якщо ні то система Алекспрес поверне і не живими грошима а купоном на відповідну суму.
Вести суперечку мені допомагав ШІ)) який весь час запевняв мене що правда на моєму боці)) Згадую твори Айзека Азімова "Брехун" де робот міг читати думки, а через це говорив те що хотіла чути людина))
А буквально вчора інший ШІ видав те, що зараз АліЕкспрес на боці продавців, так як покупці з допомогою ШІ фабрикують докази. Напевне тому наполегливо вимагають повертати товар.

І як я купився? 16Gb памяті - це вже ціна того планшета, засліпило очі та затуманило мозок.

If not, the AliExpress system refunds me — and not with real money, but with a coupon for the corresponding amount.
An AI helped me conduct the dispute)) It kept assuring me that the truth was on my side)) It reminded me of "Liar" by Isaac Asimov, where a robot could read minds and therefore told people what they wanted to hear))
And just yesterday another AI claimed that AliExpress is now on the sellers’ side, since buyers use AI to fabricate evidence. Maybe that’s why they insist so strongly that the item must be returned.
And how did I fall for it? 16GB of memory — that alone is already the price of the tablet. It blinded my eyes and clouded my judgment.

Interesting. I had those experiences a few years ago but today it's different. I alsways received my money back with in a few days. I no longer see a dispute or the option to talk to the seller first. I simply put my claim and after I did they ask what the seller said. I always leave that open. After I sent the complain I can contact the seller, but all sellers have a bot answeringthat the shop is closed or Aliexpress is handling the complaint.
The only minus is I always need to search how to complain plus you have to wait till the date passed they should have delivered.
