For us, it was also the first real winter in many years, too. I really enjoyed the snow – I didn't have to drive too much and things went quite smoothly for us; most of the roads weren't cleared and you can manage quite well on compacted snow.
But now I'm also enjoying the end of the cold weather and the birdsong that wakes us up in the morning, the butterflies in the garden and the first buds...

It's a bit strange to hear about this. 🙂 It's a bit strange to hear about this. My memories of winter visits to Germany speak of the perfect condition of the roads. But then there wasn't too much snow.
I like winter, but I love warmth much more. I always rejoice in the arrival of spring, and now is no exception. 😀
