Due to the busyness of daily work, we often have to stay away from our favorite things for various reasons. My case is no exception. For quite some time, my favorite platform, #steemretrogames has not been given that kind of time. However, today, putting all the busyness aside, I thought, let's go back to those old days. And what better refreshment can there be than gaming? Right, friends.

Actually, before starting any game, I strategically take a look at the leaderboard. This is a habit of mine. It gives me an idea about the current competition and makes it easier to set a goal for myself. Today was no exception. I opened the Steem Pong game chart and saw that a user named @adese was at the top as the best player of the day with a score of 1087.

As soon as I saw it, a challenge started working in my mind. I decided in my mind, this is the goal for today, I have to surpass this score!

So when my goal was set, it was time to prepare. First, I bought 10 lives from my wallet by spending 2 Steem. Because I knew that it was important to have enough lives to play a long inning. I immediately checked the leaderboard again and saw what I was eagerly waiting to see. My username came first in the list of the best scorers of the day with a score of 1186! It was a truly amazing feeling. The joy of meeting a goal you set yourself is different.
