RE: Offener Brief ins Auenland

Wow! Feeling a bit less angry now? A break does wonders :)

Nücki has some impressive speech-delivering skills.

I must say, your shelter is not just sturdy but also incredibly comfy.

As for Elton, why are the girls being so rude? He's just doing what he was born to do. Guys will be guys, but at least he's doing it with enthusiasm. Hang in there, Elton!

The English translation says:

people like to hear: "shepherdess and shepherd"

Am I that "people" because I'm ever so fascinated by this title. Do I have to say it again. Ok here it comes:

"Christiane, the shepherdess, we're genuinely proud of you. Keep up the good work. You're doing exceptionally well."

Feeling a bit less angry now?

To be honest... no. But I have to record important events in my life somewhere so that I can remember them with joy. .. ;-)

Nücki has good contacts with a teacher who likes to change her perspective from time to time when writing. Mäx has already written a whole series from his point of view and even wanted to publish a book... ;-)

No, no, the girls are not rude to Elton. They are rather taken with him (as they are with all three handsome gentlemen), but have not yet had any direct contact.
Elton is testing Böckchen and Nücki to see if he could possibly mate with them! This really annoys the adult males.
One day Elton will be allowed to join the girls. But first I want to get a bit more routine before I take care of a bunch of lambs. Well, there will be a few unwanted ones... :-(

The translation should read: Our humans like to hear...
Explicitly Ralf and me, who the narrating ram calls "leading ewe" and "leading ram".
My shepherd courses start in the summer. After the exam, I will be a "qualified animal farmer specializing in sheep". Might as well be called a shepherdess... ;-)

Haha, now I understand. I thought it was something I didn't grasp due to the translation. Poor Elton... I had to reread two of your earlier sheep-related posts because I had somewhat forgotten some details. And then I read our dialogue. Honestly, I enjoyed going through them again. It seems I don't have that sharp of a memory now.

Yeah I understand the "unwanted pregnancy" thing now after reading your previous posts.

Best of luck for your upcoming course.

I'm always very impressed by how much you endeavour to keep up to date (re-read...). Wow and thank you so much - I think that's what you call " true interest"... blush

I'm like this: If I like you, I like you. 😊 And for me, Steemit will always equate with you! When I hadn't had a clue about so many things, I think it was you who meant the most on Steemit for me. I don't ever want to forget that... Hence the re-reads now and then.

In short, I value this friendship a lot and so does your sheep. Btw you write such good posts about them. It's always a treat to read them. I know it sounds cheeky, but then you know how expressive I am.

Are you blushing again?

Äh, nope... However, I am smiling a lot inside myself... :-))

:))))

Did you observe, the glitches on Steemit seem to be resolved.

At least I'm feeling this way...

And also, after years, I could spot the moon (hilal), marking the beginning of the holy month, Ramadan, here.

It was really cloudy, and I had almost zero hope. But nature works in mysterious ways.

Sending all the good vibes to you too.

I could spot the moon

Did you know that the moon looks different all over the world? "Your" moon lies on its side. Here it "sits" oder "stands" instead.
I do know, but I still find it fascinating when I see pictures from other parts of the world... Thanks for that :-)

Wow, I didn't know that, actually. But yes, that makes sense, considering we view the moon from different angles and, hence, the different appearances. I think it's especially more evident in crescent moons.

You are most welcome. I'm happy that you found it fascinating :)

No, I have not yet observed any improvement. I haven't focussed on it either, I'm still working on the alternative front end.

Have a good start to Ramadan! In Christianity, we're also currently in fasting-time: seven weeks until Easter (this year at the beginning of April - this high festival also has to do with the moon). However, "our" Lent doesn't have quite as strict rituals as yours. Many people abstain from eating meat, sweets and alcohol. Ultimately, it's about conscious renunciation (which can also be something quite unique) or better (because it's expressed positively): conscious, mindful living.

conscious, mindful living.

The whole essence of these rituals indeed!
