Congratulations with the success of your decision. It’s a change that many would like to make but are unwilling to pay the inevitable monetary consequence. We (in the UK at least) have the mindset that success is measured by your job title, how much you earn and the material assets that this affords you but as we get older and wiser, we remeasure success in terms of the freedom of choice. If we have the freedom to choose what we do with our time, then we have succeeded.

Reduce it by one day at a time and you’ll be retired before you know it!
