RE: Bauverzögerung

I have stayed in a wooden shelter once some years back during a visit to an island. Though I don't have the experience of constructing it.

It looks much tough in construction process. This is alot of work. Would that be enough to keep warm...or do you have something like campfire..? I think I do some people in europe using that in their living house...

By the way, I like the cover image.

Yes, there are shelters along good hiking trails (here in the north of Europe, especially in Denmark) where you can spend the night with a good sleeping bag. But they are much smaller... ;-)
The wood does not insulate (and the walls are not completely closed because of the air circulation). But that doesn't matter: sheep have very thick fur in winter, they can stay outside even in ice and snow and don't need a warm stable. Only wind and rain (and sun without shade) are not so good for them. They are tough, but weather protection is important for animal health. They now have this protection, as well as a safe place to sleep!

Oh, interesting to know.

Are they secured? I'm a little curious about how such arrangement is made.

In Nigeria, such places won't be advisable for foreign tourist.

Secured? No. There is a shelter in the landscape and you can use it free of charge - only for one night at a time, then you have to hike on. Most of the time there isn't another person around.
Here's a photo - 15 years old, I had very, very short hair. We slept in this shelter with two dogs for one night:

I think Northern Europe and Nigeria are hardly comparable in terms of safety and mentality.
Hihi, in Denmark and Sweden people don't even lock their front doors. Well, maybe in the cities, but in the countryside, in the village, it's not common.

This is most interesting to hear!
I think in Nigeria, we have to pay for everything. And talking about safety..? It's a no no here.

As for mentality..., you are right as well.

Very interesting to hear this about Danmark and Sweden.
