If it were to be here in Nigeria, we would put the door not because of to keep warmth but for security reason.
In our village, the doors are not even locked if we leave the house for less than 24 hours... 😂

Meins ist auch immer offen, allerdings ziehe ich - misstrauisch, wie ich bin - den Zündschlüssel ab. Eine Eigenschaft, die Ralf gar nicht nachvollziehen kann, hält er das Zündschloss doch für den idealen Ort, immer zu wissen, wo der Autoschlüssel ist.
Ja, da gebe ich Ralf theoretisch recht. Da wir jedoch zu absolut jedem Auto, das wir bislang hatten, immer nur einen Schlüssel... Den bewahre ich jedenfalls lieber außerhalb auf ;-))
Och, wir haben durchaus je einen Ersatzschlüssel pro Auto. Der nützt nur nicht so viel, wenn die Karre weg ist... ;-)

What even impressed me about the door was the metallic iron they used to wedge the wood frame. Our own way is so crude….hahaha.
I need to show the carpenters over here this tools, so they won’t be suffering their apprentice working under them.
