I welcome you all to this new season 31 of Steemit engagement challenge, week 1, which need to talks about our movie choices that we enjoy, either in or outside of the house. For this contest, I would like to participate by writing about my interesting movie.

I'm undercover is a Chinese crime movie which was produced in 2026. This movie is based on common crimes happening in our society. There is an organization where they form a group under the leadership of Boss Bei in order to disrupt the peace of society by carrying out thefts of citizens' belongings. People who join this organization are trained on how to pickpocket others, and those who are not cooperative are harmed or killed if they attempt to hijack their belongings.

What single decision in the movie changed everything?

A police officer named Huo Tao decides to join this gang under the command of his boss, known as Director Si, who convinces him that this gang once hit his wife with a motorcycle while doing the rightful thing by trying to stop gangs that want to snatch bags from ladies in the street.
Huo Tao also follows this organization on a bus because he believes they want to carry out illicit activities. They are all in the bus together when these thieves start to steal from the passengers.

As an undercover agent, he showed some skill by disguising himself as a thief who wanted to steal from this group as well. He was later invited by their boss Bei so that they could work together in stealing a goods worth millions of dollars. He made a fake deal and informed all what was happening within the organization to the director, his boss. After they successfully carried the goods, boss Bei, who is the leader of the criminal gang, directed his boys to kill him. They failed to do that, where Huo Tao beat them and handcuffed them to the pole.
He later revealed his identity as a policeman, whereas other officers joined him and arrested all of them, including their leader, for the crimes they committed in the country.

What would you have done differently?
If I were the main character in the movie for the society to live peacefully, the thing I could do differently is to try as much as possible to identify the weak among the gang members so that it can serve as my informant during the process. I promise him a new life or a new identity after the group has been arrested, including their leader.
If this works, it would give me the chance to track their movement through a GPS tracker given to the one I try to convince to place it in their safe house so that no one would see. Doing this would give me the opportunity to map out their territory. After this is successful, all his criminal records will be deleted, and he will become a free citizen.
Did the character’s choice feel right or wrong to you? And why

The character, which was Huo Tao, made the right choice by joining the criminal gangs and get them arrested to ensure that people in the country live safely and that all their belongings are safe without being stolen by robbers. Although it's very risky because if they find out he is a cop, he may be killed. The reason why he was not discovered is because he was an intelligent officer who is well trained and knows about all the information about the gangs.
He chose the best decision by making sure that the crime rate in society is reduced. This serves as a warning that whoever gets caught will face the law. Once criminals continue engaging in these illicit acts, the government also will not stop in ensuring that they are arrested for the society's wellbeing.

This post is based on an interesting and action-packed movie I'm Undercover in which you have described the story and the decisions of the characters in a good way. Especially Huo Tao's going undercover and exposing the criminals was a brave and correct decision, which was also necessary to restore peace in the society. You have presented your ideas clearly and also explained how you would have taken the strategy if you were yourself, which makes the writing stronger and more impressive.
