Our society facing different problem, all we need is how to tackle the problem so that we can live a good life in any community we found ourself. Through this engagement challenge of season 29 week 6 we would be able to stated our opinion concerning the above topic.

Share one idea you believe could improve lives (locally or globally).

The idea that can improve the lives of every citizen is to develop an application that would link the rural area to pharmacies in order to have access to quality medication. Because many people in rural areas have a shortage of hospitals, that's why small pharmacies in rural areas provide health care providers for them.

In fact, some of these pharmacies offer them fake drugs, which also affect their health and cause deterioration. Developing this application will enable everyone to scan drugs in order to identify counterfeit drugs.

Why is this idea important now?

This idea is more important because it will allow the citizen to have access to quality drugs, which they can use to treat different kinds of illnesses such as malaria, typhoid, diabetes, stomach pain, and more. This application will have different features, and would also help patient s to avoid untrained practitioners from attending to them and it would also give them the opportunity to recognize the danger from a particular store that is selling counterfeit drugs to the general public.

There are many individuals that are doing this illicit business without proper registration from National association for food and drug administration and control (Nafdac). So in that case lives of people's would be affected. Doing this will help to eliminate this problem.

Who do you feel needs to hear this idea the most?

The people that would need to hear this idea are the government, the head of the community (Obas), and parents. We need to enlighten them on the usefulness of this application so that they can stay healthy at all times. These people need to be put first because they are the ones who control the affairs of the community as well as the country at large.

I will organise workshops where government officials, obas, and parents will be invited to be educated on the dangers associated with the use of unregulated drugs and to be trained on the use of the application to detect fake medicine. Doing this will help cure their children sicknesses as much as possible.

What is the first small step someone could take to begin?

To create a successful application on health, it would be called medicine test app, and the abbreviation would be MTapp. The following are the step-by-step I would take to begin the app.

Firstly, in creating the app, I will make sure that my target users are children and elderly people who are suffering from health issues.

Secondly, the application would have a unique interface that is user-friendly, and I would also define what the application contains for proper clarification.

Thirdly, I would also visit the Play Store to read reviews of some people towards other health applications, so in that case, I will work to address dislikes of some users.

Lastly, the application will look simple so that patients can easily find the quality medication they need at the right time.
