Good evening, everyone. I'm honored to accompany my boss to this important meeting with the National Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (NASME) and the Akwa Ibom Investment Corporation (AKICORP).

As we gather here today, I'm reminded of the vital role that MSMEs play in driving economic growth and development in our state. AKICORP's commitment to facilitating access to finance for local entrepreneurs is truly commendable, and I'm excited to learn more about the AKSG-BOI MSMES Loan Programme.

My boss, is looking forward to hearing from the experts and learning about the opportunities available to support MSMEs in our state. As we navigate the challenges of entrepreneurship, it's reassuring to know that organizations like AKICORP and NASME are working tirelessly to create an enabling environment for businesses to thrive.

Let's take a look at the agenda for today's meeting. We'll be hearing from the Executive Director, Other Investments, AKICORP, Mr. Usen Effiong, who will provide an update on the AKSG-BOI MSMES Loan Programme. We'll also have interactive sessions with representatives from the Bank of Agriculture and the Bank of Industry.

I'm particularly interested in hearing about the common hurdles faced by applicants and how AKICORP is working to address these challenges. As a supporter of entrepreneurship, I believe that access to finance is just one piece of the puzzle. We also need to provide guidance and support to help our entrepreneurs succeed.
