SLC-S29/W2-“Thinking and Ideas!| Simple Solutions to Big Problems!”
Assalamualaikum. I hope everybody is well. I am also well by the grace of Almighty Allah.
Problem Selection
I have chosen my topic as: “Poverty.”
If we look at the world, we can see that many small countries are extremely wealthy, while many large countries are completely poor. In this case, there are many things that we must consider. When we look at these issues carefully, only then can we understand everything properly.
If we observe small and large countries or compare rich and poor nations, we will see that there are many poor countries in the world where a large number of people live. Their living conditions are becoming increasingly difficult, and even food has become a struggle for them. Many of them do not even get enough to eat.
In this situation, poverty has turned into a disease. It continuously causes suffering to people and keeps increasing day by day. If we look closely, we can understand how everything works and how these problems keep growing constantly.
Poverty is such a painful condition that one cannot easily express it to others, nor can one endure it alone. Because of poverty, many large countries have now fallen into very bad situations. Due to this poverty, they cannot do anything properly, nor can they provide anything to their people. From every direction, they are constantly facing difficult circumstances.
Proposed Simple Solution
I would like to name my proposed solution: “Help from the Rich.”
There are many wealthy countries that do not even know where to keep their resources, and they end up wasting them continuously. On the other hand, there are some countries where people are almost dying of hunger.
Honest Volunteers: The work must be carried out by honest and dedicated volunteers so that nothing is misappropriated and all aid reaches the poor properly. They should not face any discrimination, and they must receive everything fairly so that they can move forward and come out of poverty.
Monthly Assistance: Aid should be provided on a monthly basis. Based on monthly expenses and food requirements, support should be calculated accordingly. Food and resources should be given in such a way that they can survive for a month or even longer, helping them gradually escape poverty.
Equal Distribution: Many times, favoritism destroys everything. This kind of bias must not be allowed. If one person receives a lot while another receives nothing, poverty will remain. Therefore, equal distribution must be ensured so that everyone can come out of such conditions and the pain of famine can be eliminated quickly.
Who Will Benefit?
In this case, everyone will benefit. Often, wealthy countries waste or destroy their resources. If they help poor countries or work to eliminate poverty, their reputation will increase. Seeing them, other wealthy countries will also come forward to help.
As a result, those who have lived in poverty for so long will benefit greatly. They have lived such painful lives that they could not even eat properly. Now they will be able to come out of poverty and, through their hard work, produce their own food.
Additionally, if a permanent source of income or institutions are created for them, they will be able to work there. They will be able to support their own families, which will benefit them even more and help them move forward in life.
Challenges or Limitations
Of course, there will be some major challenges and limitations that must be overcome. In some cases, conflicts may arise among wealthy countries themselves about why they are helping certain small or poor countries. These challenges must be addressed.
Moreover, when wealthy countries discuss helping poor countries, some may disagree because they want to continue controlling those poor nations and exploiting their resources. Many such issues can arise from this.
While carrying out these efforts, internal problems may also arise within the poor countries themselves. Influential figures such as MPs, ministers, or powerful individuals may try to misuse their influence and misappropriate resources. This must not be allowed under any circumstances. If the rich continue to become richer while the poor remain poor, normal development will never be possible.
Therefore, these challenges must be confronted. Many harsh realities are hidden within these challenges, and they must be identified and resolved so that poor countries can move forward and escape poverty.
Finally, it must be said that only those who have lived in poverty or are still living in it truly understand its pain. Everyone sees the suffering of poor nations and their people, but no one helps or is able to help. In this case, wealthy countries should definitely take responsibility so that everyone can move forward together.

Hi @bijoy1, welcome to thinking and ideas week 2
Poverty keeps increasing everyday and putting people into situations that are not ok. There is need to cry out for help to some needed persons to show concern because as for the government, they will do nothing.
