Contest Alert: Surprise Your Mentor on Steemit

It's throwback Thursday to remember the day you were introduced by a Steemian. Every Steemian here has that user that brought him or her on this platform. Without that Steemian, you wouldn't have known about steemit. Sometimes most of us don't even remember to appreciate our mentor for changing our lives academically and financially through steemit. It's time to show gratitude.

If your mentor had hidden this opportunity of creation contents on steemit and getting to see your contents being appreciated, reviewed, published on the net and supported as well, you wouldn't have been here.

This contest isn't mandatory for everyone and it doesn't specify how your gratitude should be or what form it should take. It's only a contest that reminds you that some people need to be appreciated at some point in time no matter their level or rank.

It's a contest to remind and contest to connect back, a contest to show appreciation. These people can be those who brought you on steemit, those who mentored you and those who encouraged and supported you. Let them know you care.

• Tell us how you got to know steemit and who did the introduction to you

• Briefly write an appreciation message to that Steemian

• Surprise that Steemian with a gift of anything at all and tell us how the Steemian felt about the gift either big or small. [Share a picture of screenshot]

• What lessons have you learnt from this Steemian?

This contest doesn't imply you go extra miles in appreciating your mentor. Anyway that feels comfortable to you, it's your appreciation, voluntary and not a command.
