Steem4nigeria Accelerator Contest Week 143: The Journey So Far.
How can you describe your journey so far in the year 2026
My journey so far in the year 2026 has been filled with both challenges and opportunities. So far, I have learned from my experience, learning, progress, and self-discovery this year.
Some of my goals have been achieved based on my plans, whereas some haven't, and I still have patience in achieving them. This year has really taught me a lot of lessons about consistency, staying focused despite challenges, and a lot more.
Have you achieved most of the things you outlined at the beginning of the year, or are you way behind
Well, I cannot completely say that I have achieved most of the things I outlined at the beginning of the year, but I have at least made meaningful progress in several areas of my life. Some of my targets have been achieved, while others are still in progress, and I am hoping to achieve them. Also, there are a few goals of mine that I am behind in achieving them which I believe good strategy and steady progress can help me to achieve them.
What are the challenges you think are slowing down the actualization of your goals, and how do you intend to overcome those challenges?
Financial constraints are my major challenge, which are limiting my ability to execute certain plans. Time management is also part of my challenge, especially when I am trying to balance work, study, family responsibilities, and my personal development.
To overcome those challenges, I am doing the following:
- Create a more structured schedule
- Prioritize my most important goals before others
- Improve my financial planning and savings habits
- Remain focused and consistent.
Are you going to add more goals as you begin the second half, or will you rather stick to the already existing goals
As I begin the second half of 2026, I will focus mainly on completing the goals that I have already set at the beginning of the year. Instead of adding many new goals, I will concentrate my energy on achieving my existing goals. However, if I have an opportunity, I may then add new goals.

Thank you for sharing your journey so far in 2026. What I like most about your post is the honesty behind it. Not achieving every goal doesn't mean you're failing; the fact that you've made meaningful progress and learned valuable lessons already shows growth.
I can also relate to the challenges of finances and time management. They can slow things down, but your plan to stay focused, improve your scheduling, and prioritize important goals is a step in the right direction. Sometimes steady progress is better than rushing and getting overwhelmed.
I wish you success in the second half of the year and hope you achieve the goals that are still in progress. Keep pushing forward and stay consistent. Great reflection!
