SLC S21W5: HANDS ON PRATICAL II

Hello everyone and welcome to my article in the SLC S21W5 in this edition I would put in efforts to bring forth a formidable result after practical analysis.

I have already followed up the classes for a while and to that effect already have about my Pratical work which I have already done here. This is my design which was made up in respect to each lesson.

Design a promotional flyer/banner/poster for your brand using any design app/ software of your choice. Kindly be sure to be very detailed, showing every relevant detail as this could be your leverage

I would be focusing on a real estate promotional pass for this particular time. My design would be inspired by giving an affordable house or suites to clients at discount prices for the festive period, properly using same special features to make up this beautiful piece of art.

STEP 1: Opened the canvas app, logo which was on the interface, giving me clean space. I incorporated images of beautiful houses from the element icon which shared special images which I admired which could be prototype of what the brand is offering. I chose most special images too.

STEP 2: These pictures were positioned to my delight after further adjustments, I decided to add a beautiful color to my background, ready to complement the great design which I had going on immediately.

STEP 3: I immediately added my first logo which is on the top left area of screen definitely directing these clients on what to do when seeing the beautiful logo, added my fonts too to complement my design, specially adding my fint style to suit my taste looking more beautiful too.

STEP 4: I added element shapes circle and added the discount sales it was seen backwards and I brought it forward and added special texts to make it more catchy, it turned out simple and actually official.

I had a perfectly made flyer after all, It brought the smile on my face once again.

CONTRAST

I decided to play around 2 colors, so much colors distracts the idea of designs making it so shouty and unattractive too. It is quite important to use complementing colors and non conflicting color tones, which I strictly adhered to.

ALIGNMENT

I decided to use the right alignment putting right element and and functions at required areas of interest without scattered texts to bring forth beautiful article to behold. It remains a crucial approach to attaining quality and beautiful designs too.

HIERARCHY

---

I made sure I highlighted the important details in bold colors , making most important texts to be more visually appreciated, there was more than enough spacing too for my information t be communicated effectively and on congestion of space allocated.

Once again a suitable mockup to promote your design.

STEP 1:

I opened the canva app, clicked on logo searched for mockup selected mockup.

STEP 2:

Immediately chose the outdoor mockup as seen on canva clicked my gallery and chose the right design for each of my flyers I adjusted to my pleasing too.

Incorporated the gallery images into these special chosen outdoor templates as seen below
