Warm greetings to my beloved community! I hope that the joy, peace, and love of this season continue to fill your homes and hearts. As we celebrate the goodness of God and the gift of family, I'm excited to share how I spent my Boxing Day in a particularly meaningful way. In my family, known as Ekpatt Unlimited—proud descendants of the Royal Ekpatt lineage—December 26th is far from just a regular Boxing Day. We deliberately reserve this day each year for our annual family gathering, which we affectionately call Ekpatt Day. This occasion evokes memories of our identity, our roots, and the strong ties that unite us as one family. This year's Ekpatt Day was especially significant and deeply spiritual. Unlike previous celebrations that emphasized reunion and festivities, this gathering focused primarily on special prayers for our family. As the secretary of Ekpatt Unlimited, I felt privileged to help plan and coordinate such an important event.

As is customary, family members traveled from near and far, filled with smiles, excitement, and a shared sense of purpose. The atmosphere radiated warmth, peace, and eager anticipation. We began by entrusting ourselves to God, uniting our voices in heartfelt prayers of gratitude for life, protection, and provisions over the past year; prayers for love, unity, and understanding among us; and prayers for guidance and divine favor in the year ahead. It was a profound moment that highlighted our connectedness as one family under God, regardless of our differences or distances.
After the prayers, we transitioned into a time of praise and thanksgiving. The air was filled with songs of gratitude as we celebrated God's faithfulness. It was heartwarming to witness the participation of both young and old, clapping, singing, and rejoicing as one. The joy was infectious, strengthening our family bonds.
Of course, an Ekpatt Day wouldn't be complete without relaxation and fun. Following our spiritual activities, we enjoyed meals together, shared laughs, told stories, and reminisced about old times. These moments of fellowship helped us reconnect, deepen our relationships, and create new memories to cherish for years to come.
Overall, my Boxing Day was peaceful, fulfilling, and uplifting. Ekpatt Day 2025 truly excelled—filled with prayer, unity, joy, and family love. I'm grateful to God for the gathering's success and for being part of such a wonderful family. May the spirit of togetherness we shared endure beyond this season.
