Getting Ready for Fashion Week Today's Edition

It started from knowing that today was Fashion Week and I didn’t want to miss it for anything, because events like that always come with a different kind of vibe, so while I was in the house, I made up my mind early that I was going to show up not just to watch but to actually capture moments from it, and that thought alone already set the tone for how my day was going to go

Preparing My Camera Before Leaving

Before leaving, I took my camera and started preparing it properly, checking my settings, cleaning the lens, and making sure everything was ready because I didn’t want to get to the venue and start adjusting too much, so I packed it carefully in my bag and made sure I was fully set before stepping out, already focused on getting good shots. on my way going, everything felt normal but at the same time I had that excitement building gradually, because I kept imagining the kind of scenes I was going to meet there, the outfits, the people, and the whole Fashion Week atmosphere, and that anticipation just kept me moving until I finally got close to the location

First Look at the Event Atmosphere

When I reached Tropicana Mall, the environment already felt different from outside, the place was active and lively, people moving in and out, dressed in different styles, and you could already tell something big was happening inside, so immediately I stepped in, I brought out my camera and got ready to start capturing as I moved further into the event, I could see the models around, some already on the runway, others preparing, walking confidently, posing, and interacting with people, and the whole place had that organized but still free kind of movement where everything was happening at once, and I started snapping different moments, trying to capture both the main action and the little details around

Models on the Runway

The runway itself was one of the main highlights, models walking one after the other, showing off different outfits, some calm and simple, others bold and creative, and the way they carried themselves made everything more interesting, while the crowd reacted, talked among themselves, and recorded with their phones, adding more life to the whole scene. As the event continued, I kept moving around, adjusting my angles, capturing different expressions, different styles, and even moments where people were just talking and enjoying themselves, and those small interactions made the whole experience feel real, not just a show but something people were actually part of

Wrapping Up the Experience

By the time everything was coming to an end, I had already taken a lot of shots, and looking back at the whole experience, from preparing my camera at home to arriving at the mall and capturing all those moments, it just felt complete, like one of those days where everything flows naturally and you leave with both memories and good results from your camera.
