The Diary Game: January 8, 2026. A day connecting with nature in my garden.

Warm greetings to all my friends in the Steem4Nigeria community. Today has been a very pleasant day, enjoying the natural beauty of my garden and receiving its wonderful benefits that greatly strengthen our physical and mental health.

So today I'm sharing my activities focused on my urban garden and my ongoing work on the computer.

My day begins very early with morning prayer, and I can thank God for this new day and for the blessings He has bestowed upon my country, Venezuela. Despite the events of January 3rd, the country is moving toward political stability and the long-awaited economic recovery.

After my devotional prayer, I was able to dedicate a good part of the morning to connecting with nature in my garden, where I have planted various medicinal plants and yucca. I planted them recently, but they have been growing well, which makes me very happy.

I continued my tour of the garden and went to the area where the medicinal plant called lemongrass grows. It's very beneficial for health, as it greatly strengthens the respiratory system, and I use it a lot when I have flu-like symptoms.

I highly recommend having this plant in urban gardens because, in addition to strengthening health, it also greatly helps the family budget. Pharmaceutical medications are very expensive, and this plant is essential to offset the cost of medicines and promotes a faster recovery.

My garden is quite large, which allows me to grow chili peppers and plantains, which my wife uses a lot as side dishes. The chili peppers give her meals a very special flavor and are very expensive at the market. A kilo of chili peppers costs 700 bolivars, which is equivalent to 20 Steem. Therefore, growing them at home is also very beneficial.
