Hello, dear community members. The community curators for July have been selected in the last update by the Steemitblog and work has commenced. It's expected that you are familiar with some of the things the teams would be looking into and for today, I will be giving you highlights of the Quality Control curator team which would help you to position yourself for getting support from the team.

Quality Control Community Curator Team
Quality control team is one the selected community curator teams for July, as such would continue with the curation of articles under Finance and Technology theme. If you are familiar with the team before, you probably know most of the things the team look into while curating articles but you have more to learn and as a newbie, you have a few things to learn from this piece today.
The team is trusted with the curation of articles that are related to Finance and Technology, for example; business, cryptocurrency, blockchain, science, computing, technology and others. In essence, think of anything finance and technology, you are just on the right track to the right team that would deliver appropriate curation to your articles.
The Quality Control team is led by @kouba01 with other members; @chiabertrand, @fredquantum, @irawandedy, @ozenozge, @pelon53, @steemdoctor1. The team have garnered adequate knowledge from different fields to curate all articles made under the theme. You are familiar with the team now, let's look into other things that would ease your journey under the theme.
Who is Eligible for Upvotes from Us?
We are community curators and we are committed to checking all articles made under our theme, as such we are for all without segregation. Everyone is eligible to receive upvotes from the account we are handling provided you have made genuine content, we don't skip articles without reasons. Let's see some important things you must comply with while writing your articles.
- The content must be original with great quality, this would be one of the things to put into consideration. Ensure the main content of your article are up to 300 words at least, you can more for in-depth analysis.
- You must be a club compliance, #club5050, #club75, or #club100. Quality and club status are considered when giving upvotes as such higher club participants stand the chance to receive higher percentage. Kindly take note.
- No forms of plagiarism is tolerated and farming accounts are not allowed. We have blacklisted a few farming accounts before and we would be on the lookout for more and exclude them from getting support from us.
- Ensure you utilize License-free images in your articles and well-sourced (captioned with the image source). For this, Pixabay, Wikipedia Commons, Pexels... are some of the free image websites.
- Users that are powering down are not eligible for upvotes from us.
- Your article must be #steemexclusive (not shared on any platform before). Users should not be involved in spamming of accounts, most especially tagging SC01/SC02 accounts unnecessarily. That being said, users must not be involved in vote buying service.
Utilizing the Right Tags
Our curation team considers a few tags and for your article to be visible to us, you are expected to use the right tag, this is very important. Let's see some of these tags.
- #Fintech is the primary tag of the theme which is expected of authors that have written an article related to Finance and Technology to include it in their tags. You must add this tag among the first 4 tags of your article.
- Other tags are #business, #cryptography, #computing, #finance, #science and #technology. Utilizing any of these tags in accordance with the category you have written on.
- In addition, add your club status tag accordingly, #club5050, #club75, or #club100. Also, do not forget to add the #steemexclusive tag, it preserves value for articles made on Steemit alone.
- You should endeavor to use only tags pertaining to a community curator theme on an article, do not combine tags from another theme. For example, utilizing fintech and learnwithsteem tag on an article is wrong, these are two separate themes. It's worth taking note of that.
The Quality Control team members are available for curation throughout the week (Sunday - Saturday) with proper schedule and your articles would get support accordingly. We ensure we don't miss entries as such each curator checks any non-curated articles from the previous day.
