Introduction

All along the week, we knew this day was going to be a stressful one having bookmarked the activities for the day even beforehand. It is a day we have set aside to run around the town to get some things in order.

The Diary

Our main destination in town for the day is one of the most popular commercial banks in Nigeria, FirstBank of Nigeria Plc and the aim of our visitation is to primarily sort out wifey's name change.

Since we got wedded, she has intended to change her names which turned out she changed all (first, middle, and last names). Unfortunately, the bank rejected this while noting that she's only permitted to change just two.

We have been on this for weeks and fortunately, we finally pulled through with the first and last names change on the National Identity and Bank Verification Number (BVN).

The change of nomenclature is very important to her because it will affect a few things at her place of work if this is not sorted out on time. We stepped out quite early and she was given the number 48 at the bank.

Not quite long after our arrival and sitting in the waiting space, a woman asked her what number she was given and voluntarily let go of her number 42 (seems she's not interested in her initial intended purpose).

After some hours, wifey was done and she was given a two-week waiting time to see if the change was successful. We headed home. On our way home, I sighted Tilapia fish (at a vendor's stand) just by the roadside and wifey went to check it out. It was a sunny afternoon and I took a picture while waiting for her return.

It was noon already and I pitied my wife because she was going on night duty, even after all the stress she had been through all day. When we got home, she made a Tilapia fish stew and it was just amazing.

After Wifey left for work around 16:00, I spent some time checking some bugs on my code and retired to watching the Sassuolo vs Napoli match. SSC Napoli really ran a riot of goals.

The current African best player, our homeboy, Victor Osimhen scored a hat trick, what a way to show his return after the AFCON.

Conclusion

The rest of the day was spent on some extras before I called it a day just before midnight. It was really a stressful and fulfilling day. Thanks for reading through this piece.
