It's another beautiful day to report my Diary Game, how my say went, the excitement and all of that. Within one week, we have some very comfortable days and some mixed with challenges. On this it was about spiritual blessings, changing my doorblinds and windows as well.

It was a Sunday morning, everything started when I woke up, after morning devotion, I bathed while my son was still asleep. I woke him up too and prepared him for church. I should always be in church early as a leader who must be exemplary. On getting to the church the Sexton was there already, arrangements made, musical instruments set, next was to assign a member to lead us in a winning prayer for the day before the actual service time which is 9am. This was done and others who will virtually come late, began to come in. A lot of them missed the powerful session and I have been telling them that prayer is everything. A believer must pray and nothing more or less than prayer.

Why prayer? We are serving the God we do not see and the only way to talk to Him is through prayers. In Philippians 4:6, it says:

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

The idea of Paul is that there is only one way to feel God very close and that is prayer. It is a necessity, a point of communication and helping humanity to commune with divinity.

Aside from the prayer time, the service commenced on a strong spiritual coordination following the doctrine of faith and the liturgy of the Presbyterian Church of Nigeria. Our congregation is in the Use Offot community while the parish base is at 73 Wellington Bassey Way Uyo.

At the cause of the service, there were lined up of activities including the Thanksgiving Service of our members who got married last week in our parish headquarters but returned to our local congregation to appreciate God and the entire church who stood by them through the time of their celebrations of traditional marriage and wedding that was done on 2nd and 3rd January 2026.

The was service was impacting, with the cleric who preached on the topic “Say it and Have It” who drew his text from Matthew 7:7

"Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.

boosting the faith of the congregants to begin this year with solid faith and never doubt what they will keep asking from God.

1. Be born again and enjoy the love of God - John 3v16
2. Ask in faith and not more words - Mark 11v23
3. Ask for your neighbors too - Matt. 22v39 God has given us a blank cheque to request anything from Him, don't be selfish, extend it to others.

If was after the message, and being done with the order of service that the latest couples were called for their Thanksgiving which was done and they contributed toward the church building project. The service came to a close at 11am.

We had committee meetings as well as meeting newcomers and other special attention as some members requested. The work of a pastor is always loaded, especially on Sundays. My family had to patiently waited for me to get done.

At about 1pm, we were at home already. We had to change the curtains in our house, a special year gifts from friends which they may not like their names mentioned anywhere. After I finished mounting them, the sitting room had a new year look. Thank you to all of them and God bless and beautify you.

Next was to have my lunch and sleep was already waiting for me.

I enjoyed the sleeping that was helping me to rest and regained strength until evening, although I canceled my appointment in the evening to remain indoors with my family.

The only disappointment the day brought my way was Manchester United being knocked out from the English FA cup after Sacking Amorim, and Darren Fletcher taking charge

on an interim basis, yet no difference. Same story of drawing and losing matches. As a fan what should I do? Nothing, I keep supporting my club.
