The Joy of Eating Roasted Corn Nigerian

Hello, great Steemians, and trust we are doing great today, so I am going to be talking about my day today.

So guys, on this fateful day this week, I closed work, and on my way home, I kept perceiving roasted corn, so I was wondering, and then I tried to trace where it was coming from, and lo and behold, I saw the woman that roasts corn at a particular junction, and I screamed. I was like, "Roasted corn in February?" because in this part of Nigeria that I am in, we experience rainfall. April, so I was surprised.

My neighbor, who was seated close to me as well, was also surprised, and she was like, "She wants to come down and buy, but she won't since we were almost filled up in the Napep for takeoff." Immediately after she said it, I said to myself aloud, "Close your eyes and look from elsewhere, or you will trek home," because I didn't have money.

So today I closed from work, and I was so happy because I had some extra money on me, and so immediately I saw the woman again. I was contemplating, but I just said to myself, "**Let me just buy this roasted corn so that I will satisfy my cravings and make my mind calm down." **

I hurriedly went to where she was because she sits at a major bus stop where people board taxis or tricycles to their various destinations and also drop. So she looked for a corner to sit and relax while doing her business.

And I love the fact that she is very strategic in terms of location for her business. At the heart of a major bus stop, most especially in the evenings like this when people are on their way back from work, they branch and buy something small to eat on their way home, and in the morning she fries yam and other little fries so that people who miss breakfast at home can get something on their way to work.

Funny how today on my way to work I bought fried yam for about 400 naira, which is about 4 STEEM, and on my way back I bought 2 corn, which is 500 naira, about 4 STEEM, spending a total of 900 naira, which gives us about 10 STEEM only today. Imagine what others will spend buying from her on their way to and back from her. Her business is doing perfectly well because of her strategy. All in all, I enjoyed my roasted corn.
